Can`t get on gta forum

As of three days ago avg won`t let me on gta forum come`s up with browser hijack is any one else having this problem and is there a fix that does not involve removing avg?

I had the same problem with avg not only with gta but also elsewhere. It only started after the last avg update so I just disabled one element of the program.

How do you disable the update and and what element do you disable

One option might be to swap over to avast, seems to not slow my computer down as much as avg used to......

Yeah, I gave up on AVG a few months ago. Avast is heaps better.

Might try that as AVG has been slowing things down a lot lately.

Yer me to I got it sorted I disabled the link scanner and it going fine now.Is avast free?
