Tom,Do we just rock up and pay our fee then race, or do we need to do it online. Also if i get a club membership does that cover all of MTBA aswell?
Cheers, Tom.
you asked for it, my two bobsThe Only changes will be Elite, Expert and Sport going to A, B and C grade plus hardatail will be going A & B All others will stay the same.
I am looking at hiring 1 or 2 buses this year for the races so no more private transport race entry will go up $20 and be much safer with no cars on the road. how does everyone feel about that? I like it.
Good idea.I am looking at hiring 1 or 2 buses this year for the races so no more private transport race entry will go up $20 and be much safer with no cars on the road. how does everyone feel about that? I like it.
AgreedThe only problem that I can foresee is increased entries if you offer a shuttle service.
You probably can't stop people driving up the road, but the race director/commasaire can control who rides on the track and if one of the race rules is no private shuttles anyone doing so could be DQed.Is it legally possible to control private shuttles?
It's actually against MTBA regulations and therefore insurance would get murky.y
I think an entre fee of $30.00 or $40.00 for shuttle users and then $10.00 if you have your own
Understood and my queries re policing of said private shuttles has been addressed by the Alchemist. It's actually against MTBA regulations and therefore insurance would get murky.
The regs say once the club provides shuttles no private shuttles are to be allowed.
MTBA fined a few rider $150 at a recent Nationals race for doing a self shuttle.Understood and my queries re policing of said private shuttles has been addressed by the Alchemist.
Im liking it as well.......Once I get my license i want to get more involved with CCOMTB...Just have to balance HSC and 3 unit mathsrace entry will go up $20 and be much safer with no cars on the road. how does everyone feel about that? I like it.
