Dura ace 8speed on my Bullit and a Dura ace 9 speed on my Chameleon. I have never ever broken one, and you can ask squidly how much abuse they cop!
Make sure you always use the right joining pin/link, otherwise chains won't work well at all!

Anyone else noticed that shitano chain pins now have indents on the ends so that wen you push em thru they bend ova at th ends so they wont last if you push em back thru. Even if you peen em flat again. Could be to save weight but I would say its yet another scam.
