Hi all,
Long story short, I have an old DH bike that hasn't been used in ages and is just taking up space... Now I haven't been in the DH 'scene' (regular riding/competing) for 4-5 years now, and I've no idea what deemed 'too old' these days as far as bikes go? I mean I was stoked to get a 2000 model Norco DH bike back when I first starting competing properly as a 13-14 year old, but I don't know if that still applies...
So I guess my question is, do I bother trying to sell, or are such old bikes too old/uncool for anyone (particularly younger buyers with less $$$) to buy these days?
The bike in question is a 2005 Giant DH comp (see below). Obviously it needs a little tlc (seatpost, a spoke on the rear, derailleur tune etc), but with that small outlay it would still make for a half reasonable bike for a beginner
Thoughts??
