Hi guys, just a reminder about the working at Garapine this Sunday from 9am. There's just a little bit more work to do and the rest of the day is a chance to get some (shuttled) practice in before Race 1 next week! Post here or email andrew.mtb@gmail.com if you're planning to attend.

Some great videos there - wish I could come out there and race, bud sadly ill be away (and probably not up to the challenge of racing!)

Are these public tracks? Or only for event days?

Here's the story on practice:
-The venue will be open for practice on Saturday from 11am to 4pm
-BYO shuttles will be allowed but they must obey road rules (bikes strapped in, all passengers in the vehicle with seatbelts on) - the shuttle route is 2WD friendly
-There will be practice on Sunday from 7.30am to 9.30am. Race briefing will be at 9.30am and racing will start at 10am strictly.
-The number of laps each grade will do is still being determined as we are now only racing two tracks and using the third as the climbing trail. These two are definitely the fun ones though!! There will be a lunch break halfway as a chance to refuel, fix bikes, talk crap etc.
-We highly recommend that everyone gets there for practice at 7.30am and has a roll down each track at least once to get familar before your first race run if you couldn't make it to Saturday practice.

Hi Shaun,

It should be out very very soon. As a rough guide there will be practice and ergo from 7.30am to 9.30am. Race briefing will be at 9.30am and racing will start at 10am. Each rider will do two laps of the three different tracks.

Hope it all went well, unfortunately I couldn't make it due to family commitments but am super keen on this style of racing and hope it was a success. Any chance of a race report?

Thanks all who showed up and helped make it such a great day. I was stoked to see how friendly and fun the atmosphere was whilst still being a great competition - even if there was some sandbagging going on

Thanks to Derek, Craig and Toby for the great trash talk all day - that's what gravity enduro is all about. And especially Derek for his great sportsmanship in recieving the Tubrospoke!!

An extra special thanks to Ian and Andy and the awesome awesome volunteers who helped make the day run so smoothly. Thanks also to those who helped wage war on the lantana in previous weeks to get the tracks up to scratch - they were unreal today (even if my fitness level didn't entirely agree with the green track!!)
