gotta ask though - do you have enormous hands? Brake levers look very far from the bars

I don’t think I have huge hands, but I always run my levers away from the bars, for no other reason than I always have? Just habit I guess?

Fantastic build. would be a joy to ride. I have a 2011 Kona unit, all original apart from xt brakes. Hasn’t been ridden much. Mainly used around the town bike with kids.
I’m thinking of giving it an overhaul, might use this as a bit of inspiration.

You should be able to get a through axle slider kit if you want more modern hub options
