I was just trying to download the rider pack to see if there was any info I was missing but I'm sure I'll be OK

Assuming it goes something like....

Start at 8am
Ride 99km
Play nice
Watch out for the Yowie

Does that cover it?

Off the top of my head, 8am start for the 99km, 10 for the 33, somewhere in between for the 66, 10:30 for the 15 - does that sound about right?

Attached is the rider info pack for the 2012 Yowie.

The schedule is in there, however, for those that don't have the minute it may take to find in the rider pack, the details are as follows.

99km
Rego opens - 6:30am
Race briefing - 7:45am
Race start - 8:00am

66km
Rego opens - 7:30am
Race briefing - 8:45am
Race start - 9:00am

33km
Rego opens - 8:30am
Race briefing - 9:45am
Race start - 10:00am

15km
Rego opens - 8:30am
Race briefing - 10:15am
Race start - 10:30am

Cloudy areas of Rain easing to isolated showers by evening. 6 - 15.

You might get wet, there might be some mud on your bike , short of moving the event to Vodafone there is not much we can do.

Is this the first time a race promoter has been honest about the weather?

I have heard the Yowie dosen't like getting wet, so that is one advantage.

I take it for anyone wishing to ride out there on Saturday (and not race) - all trails will be off limits till at least 1pm?

Now that you mention rain, it brought something to my attention: I don't believe I've ever raced at Kurrajong in the wet. Stockhards, plenty of times, but Kurrajong? I can barely recall a drop.

yeah this is my first occasion to ride in a month and there arent any other spots to ride that arent trashed. I will be good.
