HMBA club DH 31st of May

Hi all,

The next round of the HMBA club downhill series will be on this Sunday the 31st of May on the Monkey downhill track at the Awaba Mountain Bike Park.

We will be providing a bus and trailer and there will still be private shuttles allowed. This will be a great opportunity to get some steep and fast practice in before the next State round at Del Rio.

All the B-lines are going great and there is a new line missing the Wombat gap at the lower end of the course avoiding the steep rutted section.


Rego opens at 9am and finishes at 11am sharp.

Racing will start at 12.30 and be 2 runs.

Entry is $25.

Letting you all know the shuttle bus will be starting at 9am. The driver will need a break at 12.30 so make sure you get up to the start in time. The bus will start up again a bit before 1 to get us up for second runs.

The track should be super mega rad grippy so it will be fun fun fun.

Just wondering if race still on,heard road access not to good.

Just spoke to Jimmy and there is a bit of concern about the road, so the DH will be canceled as well as the XC.
