Ride it over to mine to pick up your chainrings so I can drool over another giants bike.

If that's a wine rack bottom left of the bottom bracket, that is very under utilised...very.

taking a shit with my boobs out
I doubt there will be any riding until you tidy up that room!

Sick bike looking forward to seeing the build.
He might get a pass out... just build the missus a brand new house and you get to camp in a rental for a year and buy new bikes.

For the love of god please, please don’t put one of your saddles on it. Please.
Oddjob's cave of treasures has a mountain of SMP saddles. Sorry, not sorry.

She’s a beauty.
Did you sell your furniture to buy her?
Nope. True story, I've been trying to build my forever house for 4 years. So we're currently renting, while our actual house is currently a very glamorous drying shed.

Everytime I see one of these just makes me want one more! First Wake Jake now you I'm jealous.
Au contraire, I've been hoarding this since my birthday in September last year. I've only just unwrapped my present to myself today, because I really fucking needed it.

I'll PM you about Monday weather permitting. I have about 60 cases/5 vintages stored is specialised wine storage waiting for the new house which will have a climate controlled wine cellar/bike parts storage.

The wine rack is very well utilised that's why there is so much room. He has kids so I'm assuming it's like my place where aging a bottle of wine is buying it Monday for the weekend.
Oh man, my liver loves my kids. My knees, back, gut, limbic system, not so much.

Yeah that's going to be a few more weeks. I've got everything from CDs, to paintings and silverware, to an electric recliner drying in this house.

Hehehe you just wait. I'll have a granny flat available for visiting RBers.

Nice bike but I see a Trust fork back there. Also do WFH in a camp chair? Why is your cutlery on the floor? So many questions.
Yep it's a Trust Message. It will be going on a Turner Sultan which I will be calling Dave Weagle's Orphan.

Yep, splitting my time between two houses due to trying to keep the kids apart when one has been a close contact which has been most of summer. Now trying to manage all the bullshit involved in salvaging stuff from a flooded storage unit.

Cutlery is silverware we've inherited from family that got wet and needs to be dried out. Got some Inox MX3FG that I need to spray on it and put it away again until our kids inherit it and try to figure out when the hell they will ever use it.

Price of said chainrings has increased due to external pressures outside our control (just like fuel ....thanks Scotty)

Quick project update.

Angleset installed, currently running 0° but can change angles and reach later on.

240x76 Float X2 installed. This is longer than the standard 230x65 so installed a longer chainstay mutator to correct the BB height, BB height would be too high without correction. Will take the rear travel to ~190mm in the short travel setting and 205mm in the long travel setting.

Applied helicopter tape on front triangle to protect the pretty orange decals.

Next step is the Fox 49 fork.

PS the modern 7 part Fox shock bushings are a work of art. The IGUS bushings are self lubricating, and the setup with the o-rings and the blisters on the outer bushing caps automatically allow for some flex in the frame and shock mounts. Mwah!

I understand your scepticism, but these new school bushings are seriously impressive. I would not be surprised if they were ripped off from someone else.
