How come Aussies don't use Craigslist to sell bike stuff?

Maybe we have an excellent MTB forum to sell on already?
I've been trying to dump some of the stuff that I brought over from the US but I'm still waiting for my account to be approved. I bought up three sets of Dura-Ace cranksets and a couple XTR sets.

What's a good site for buying furniture and what not? We stored most of our stuff in the US so I just need to find some used furniture to outfit a small house in Williamstown. I need to find some on-line classifieds.

Just wondering why Craigslist isn't popular over here? I moved a ton of my bike stuff on CL before I left Austin.
Its a north american site, popularity took off there, not so much here. I loved craigslist when I lived in Canada, I got my first job, furnished our house and then sold it all again later when we left, all on CL

Popluation thing as well, lots 10X more americans than Aussies so you just have that larger base.

You could also try the trading post site, it seems to be where Aussies sell stuff as well as that link above.

Its an online trading site where people sell stuff. Started in the US but has gone pretty global

Its famous for prostitutes advertising their wares, people selling all kinds of things and occasional awesome rants.

PINT of Stella. mate!

Seeing as licensed prostitution is legal in Australia and as such escorts and brothels can advertise in the local paper, craigslist has never had quite as much traffic as it does in other countries.
