I’ll confess, Gravelista, Seymour next Sunday. Anyone else?
Suffered big time in the last hour, but finished.

I'm getting a bit over my dropper post - not really sure I need it any more.

Any recommendations for a carbon post?

AliExpress? FSA (https://www.pushys.com.au/fsa-sl-k-carbon-seatpost-27-2mm-x-350mm/)?

Somebody forgot to notify Syntace that there's a lull in the bike industry 😳

I bought into the P6 cool aid a couple of times, reckon I may still even have them. I wouldn't go there again at the placebo price that I could actually feel a difference to the post that was replaced.

BoBo, put up a WTB ad, the blokes here collectively should have enough spare seat posts accumulated to build a handrail around your house. Make a decision on what you want, material, length, setback etc...

Could probably do the perimeter fence of a rural block with old handlebars!

So many nice sets of bars discarded on the pile as we went from 600's up to 800 😞
The jump from 660 to 740 seemed huge for me. Tiny stems and massive bars. I have a few stems around the 40-50mm range, and they seem to work fine with 740 and 760mm. I don't think 800s fit through my fecking front door FFS. Also narrow tree gaps.

I cut the OneUp carbon bars on my Deviate and Spur from 800 to 780mm and all was good. Then eeb comes and feels great at 800, now the 780s feel noticeably narrow 🤣

I have to admit that I knew what I was doing...

I've had the Syntact P6 and it's an amazing post for cutting out the buzz. I regret selling it years ago, but I think it went to a Burner who needed a less sore bum.

But, I don't really regret it, as I still have one of these on my Dropbar MTB Gravelpacker, which is the same thing (99% sure Niner had Syntace produce them), but cheaper! https://www.ninerbikes.com/niner-rdo-seatpost/

If you have a look around, that cheeky spanish mob has the Niner INN stock currently, depending on your girth and length requirements.
