They under estimated the speed, calculated it from the wrong tried and tested place. Gave his 'stained' clothing back to his wife with the rest of his gear. Failed to mention the young driver only had one light working on his car and the working light only had a beam of 10m... his estimated speed was 114kph at impact.
No one wants to see a young bloke go to jail but it was a massive injustice to his family.
