Something has gone very wrong with our society! The Mornington incident and now this shit. At least two of the scumbags took themselves out yesterday.
I had some fruitloop the other day beeping and carrying on at me because he had to give way to me as he pulling out of a driveway. I was about 300m from home and nearly went back to see if he wanted to make something of it.

Get this all the time near my place, as the bike path crosses the road and I have right away with a”wombat crossing”
I always ensure that they stop before I cross, as a lot of them are on their phones most of the time and others wouldn’t even blink if they were to hit me.

I work ( loose term ) in Port Melbourne - we had to do a safety meeting / upgrade as the new cycle path included a cycle lane to go to mannish road ‘Turner st’ I had to expressly advise people to STOP .
cos it’s a Stop sign .

The whinging and bitchin when all these dumb fos got tickets from the police … who literally sat in plain view in a marked car for a fucking week was hilarious .
unfortunately - everyone still ignores the stop sign over the cycle way .

Sounds like my neck of the woods.
Local council has a boner for bike path intersections lately.
They have a checklist which they seem to go through each and every time. Give way sign gets changed to stop sign, gets added speed humps, over the course of a few months.

Never works because you can’t trust it if you’re on the path and because it’s completely counterintuitive to anyone on the road.

Yep, then we have some people that spray over the signs or just turn the signs sideways

The cunts next door put up wind chimes in response to me asking council for help. Time to get a wiggle on with renovations and get this house sold…

I’m not going to lie, they’ve made a serious dent in our mental health. We had a lot of hope for a nice few years in Hobart, and now we just want out. Our first ever house we owned feels like a bit of a prison these days.

Yeah that's no good.

How do you feel about raising some chickens and ducks? 1 rooster to keep them safe...maybe some geese. They know how to party.

Just need to get a move on with renovations. It’s clear this will not be home, so I just need to treat it as a job. I was really hoping it would be home, I’ve never really had one as an adult and I do want one. But maybe next time.

Not now, but this may end up being a blessing in disguise. This house has got you over to the Apple Isle. It is much easier to intuit your perfect forever home when you are embedded.

Has your time there given you any hints or inklings as to where the perfect foreverville may be?

No idea, but I think its going home to central Victoria... Although I did buy a block of land in my hometown, but thats turned into a nightmare too with us facing taking council to VCAT after years of them bleeding money from us so that took some shine off it.

Kirsty wants to hang out in Brisbane for a bit, and when we dont have dogs I reckon europe for a bit. Leverage this remote working caper to the hilt!
