LTIH - I ordered some stuff from Pushys last week and paid for express shipping, firstly they sent some of it the next day and then the last item the day after that. First item says it will be delivered by Friday check the tracking and see it’s on its way to my town then crickets, comes up with it’s running late.

So I expect it on Monday, nope, Tuesday, nope, so I lodge a ticket with Australia Post to see where it’s at, they came back pretty quickly to tell me it’s lost and to lodge a claim with Pushys.
Then we have the second parcel, telling me it’s running late as well, then I get a message from them saying it’s ready for pick up from the Darra Post office back in Queensland, WTF.

So I lodged another ticket with them to get it redirected to Victoria, then I checked the tracking again and it’s saying it was coming to Melbourne but then it’s going back to Queensland WTF!
So I ask them what’s going on with it and they say it was incorrectly sorted again and is on it’s way.

So currently I have received nothing, express postage at its finest.
The Darra post office is where Pushys is located.

I've ordered some car parts from the other side of town and just received the delayed post message.

Who knows when I’ll get the package but it’s definitely racking up some frequent flyer points, if I’m reading it correctly it’s been sent to Melbourne then back to Brisbane then back to Melbourne then to Brisbane and now back to Melbourne again.
I also lodged a ticket with Pushys yesterday and still yet to hear from them so emailed them today and still nothing not even a confirmation reply.

It's going around in circles like a yo-yo, Redbank is the Austpost depo sorting facility here.

Pushys are useless. But not the worst.

I had a parcel delayed recently. Then about 10 days after it was meant to be ready I was at the post office to collect another parcel and they were like "you have this one here too...been here for a while, almost time to send it back." If only they had scanned it when it arrived!

Don't they have to make it really obvious everywhere they put them?
This is what the fixed cameras on the freeway in Melbourne used to look like.
OIP (1).jpeg

These were for all lanes, so not as easy to get one person speeding.

The latest ones that replaced these on a bridge on my commute are now one for each lane and they are tucked in behind the first bridge beam facing the oncoming traffic. You can see them if you are looking for them.

The cameras have two parts for each lane. One coke can sized bit and a gopro sized bit beside that.

1) Express post as far as the Post Office is concerned is not actually available - but they still sell it to you
2) Sometimes where you order makes a difference in the time it takes the company to package and send your parcel - Pushys is not one of them as they will have such volume it will be picked up by Aus Post daily late afternoon
3) Aus Post tracking is so broken currently you cannot trust it - you also can’t lodge an offical where is it until it’s at least 5 full business days late from expected delivery.

I just sent a package from Bundaberg to Ormeau (near Gold Coast) - tracking for 7 days said we have the have package but it’s delayed - then the purchasers tracking said it went to Brisbane - then Redbank - then Maryborough
I used the exact same tracking number and it said onboard for delivery in Helensvale - so we actually got two totally different results searching exactly the same tracking number

Ps- I know the owner of an Aus post up here - I asked him out of curiosity - he actually shrugged said who knows it’s all just fucked

With postage I realise its all too much and am thankful it actually arrives.
CBF looking at tracking.
Pushys are hit and miss , order 2 things together to reduce waste ,1 arrives quickly another comes weeks later then they want to be highly rated on Trust Pilot.

You know what is really sad about postage now days - exactly this - I now insure most of the packages I send not for damage or theft - but actual loss from AusPost

Surely that's some Costco worker taking the piss?
Does that mean that Intense is going the way of Mongoose and Diamond Back?

Who knows? The Costco site also listed diamond back for sale.

Given costco's approach to returns I would jump on the heavier 951 if they start selling them here at that price! Not sure what it's like in Australia but apparently in the USA they have a bit of an always accept the return policy.

It's not the first post I've seen about an Intense at Costco.

951 is the budget line from Intense, if I remember correctly

I think 951 is the zip code at their hq or something and it used to be their delicious dh line.

I'd be very surprised if they sold them here with the way MTB distribution chains are set up in Australia.

Chance of close to zero percent i think.
They have a direct to consumer model for the 951 in Aus.

That isn't too bad, price vs spec is balanced. Odd they slipped an image of some ohlins suspension in their but that option isn't offered?

Still the same here, have bought a few Dyson Vacuums from there for myself and family members, the bonus is when it shits itself you get a new one as long as you are the original member and its less than 4 years old.
We have had the wall hanger issue (Dyson accessory) for wall hanging and it actually puts pressure on the battery and messes with the trigger.
And we had a trigger snap in one. I think we paid a little bit more on-top of return one and now we have one with a cool light in it for dust, does F all on carpet though. Costco returned it no problems without box both times, we even replaced the head so gave them the old one that was broken/pulled apart and no problems at all.
We are also just two people so shop there probably once every three months if that, unless something special is on run out on ozbargain etc.

Still $1100 difference in retail though.
