If it takes you more than a couple of hours (likely) then I wouldnt bother if you're just making the one. Setting up to make many could be worthwhile, otherwise just spend the $30.
I made one at work but I happened to have access to materials, a CNC (not that you need this) and the time to do it. If you've got access to tools etc have a crack, probably a good learning experience if nothing else.
Yeah depends what you consider your time worth? you'd spend atleast 3 hrs on a half decent job i reckon, surely $30 isn't that hard to come by?? Or any for sale on here?
