While not from the area and not having ridden around the Dam or the Oxford Falls area yet, i responded to the article. Its great to have a politician recognise the greater need for sustainable trail access. We can only hope that this is pushed into a greater, more national concern.
While its certainly an exciting time in this country with lots of areas being developed for our sport both public and privately, there is still a long way to go in getting greater access to public land areas with sustainable trails.
Education leads to motivation leads to change.
I for one look forward to the next few years with our sport getting more and more support from members of parliament and National parks starting to see that if properly managed we are not a blight on the wilderness. Riding around the bush in a country like ours is some of the best ways to appreciate our country and our bushland resources.
