Yup I definitely agree.

It's pretty funny that this just came up, as I was discussing with a mate at uni the other day (we're both doing Computer Science...) how a lot of IT people tend to be into 'alternative' sorts of sports. We pretty much concluded that both things take a fair bit of commitment/time to really excel at so they tend to attract the same sorts of personality.
