This is actually really corny but how do you rate the Gobi saddle from a non-XC perspective? (Ie. predominantly sitting down?) Are they any good? Can you compare it to say a SGD Bel Air?

Just curious...

The Gobi, yeah I quite like them. It is nice and streamlined so it is easy to transfer your weight back over the rear wheel on steep descents or to stabalise yourself if need be in the air.

As far as comparing with a SDG Bel Air, I assume they are a little bit cheaper, but I think if money isn't a huge issue and you don't mind spending a little more money, then the Gobi is the seat for you.
