The NSW State DH Championships are on August 9 - 10 hosted by the Hunter Mountainbike Association at the Monkey trail, Awaba.

Online entries and race details should be on NSWMTB Website and Bright Orange Events Website shortly, as well as posted here.

For those wanting to race the track prior to the State Champs, HMBA is having a club race day on Sunday July 27. Full details in this thread.

The
trail has undergone changes since last years state round, including the development of new B-Lines through the main rock garden, and Battle On sections.

If you have never ridden or seen the
trail beofre, there are pleny of pics on the HMBA Website or in this thread.

So Bright Orange Events are back on board for this one? I thought they packed it in before Nowra or was that just for that event?

B Lines

With the new B Lines will all classes be starting from the top or will there be two starting lines again

all grades will be starting form the top from now on. the rock garden has bben made safer and easier to negotiate. we have placed in a new line after the wombat gap which is a series of switchbacks. these will be used for the first time at the champs. this line still needs a little bit of fine tuning before it is opened.

this sunday we have a club round on at awaba if anyone wants to come and get some pracitce in on the trail.

We had a great turnout to the build day today resulting in the whole track being swept, the B-line of the rock garden opening up even more, and the new switchbacks being completed.

Thanks to everyone who came out.

The champs is going to be awesome!

Use google maps search for jenkins rd. Its off mt faulk rd. If you get to the jenkins rd turning you will see signs for sure. From Sydney I take the Freemans drive exit and cut back to mt faulk road. Its all clear on the maps.

nothing up for rego's as of yet. what is happening?
is this to be another nowra? with last minute adjustments

where will we be able to rego cause ive been trying to get onto the nswmtb site and it says that the account has been suspended. so if a link could be posted up that would be great.
