What are the best DH flat shoes in the range?
I use the roost for bmx and around town, the dust up for trail and enduro and the west Ridge high top for dh. The west Ridge has the most protection and is also the stiffest. Grip seems to be the same across the range, and the roost sole wears the fastest, dust up second. My west ridges haven't seen enough use to really compare longevity but they seem to be the longest lasting. This all seems to be down to pattern more than compound btw

Who's side are you on?
Any chance you can get some Chromag Daggas in? I'm on their side. :p

Out of the pair you've listed - the Burgtec would be my pick (I like the bigger/squarer platforms). Interesting how they seem to install the grub screws from the "blind" side. I wonder how the screws hold up to impacts if the thread inside the pedal is effectively hollow.

I had the Burgtecs and even with the version 2 with increased Q factor, I found it was still way too narrow compared to other pedals. They were beautifully made but I had no choice other than to sell them after a couple of rides.
Agree.

Interesting, I sometimes run the wider axle so I can see what you mean. Personally I haven't had an issue with them either way - size 12shoe on me

The size of the platform is a little smaller than say a dmr vault or the oneups, bur still ok. They just sit way too close to the cranks. Maybe add 5-10mm of spindle length and theyd be great pedals (for me)

Highly recommend these, got some to fit my big platforms without being sure if they would actually stretch enough around the Deity TMAC pedals (decent surface area compared to my Raceface Atlas that seemed big).
Granite Design Pita Pedal Cover (offroadbikesonline.com.au)

Lasted a few hours on a windy drive, I only fit one on my bike and one on the other to stop any pedal bashing whilst they are on the roof.

Theres been a bit of interest in the newly released Rascal V2 - info here:

Whilst the models are coming in there are still some great deals to be had on the existing stock, and contact us if you want something in particular.
