News on entry

Important update if you are thinking of entering the Hellfire Cup .

Our accountant has spoken and has said that in the new financial year we have to register for GST which means 2 things, 1 is that I will spend more time in front of spreadsheets and less time on the bike.

It also means that on July 1 2013 price of entry goes up by 10%. to 440.00

With 2 meals a day, jags of prizes, giveaways and services we still think it’s one of the best value stage races going round, but we thought we’d give a heads up so you can get in early and save some coin when you get on board the festival of bikeness.

Hopefully GST revenue raised by the man gets spent on trails, now that would be nice wouldn’t it.

OK just done our tally for prizes and giveaways with some new sponsors on board it goes like this :

Cash for elite podium $32,500
Event funded give aways retail value $37,500
total $101,850 in prizes and give aways
(this total excludes the two free meals a day, medals and trophies and lots of other swizzery)

we are looking forward to all the new crew coming to tassie for our new event. we are pumped.
for those coming if your looking for something that doesn't choose between , trails , professionals, punters, entertainment, onsite services, atmosphere and prizes, then get hard in the junk for Hellfire . We strive to to provide you with the best of all of these.
if you like a mixture of trail styles and enjoy old school single track, bush trails, groomed single track and epic descents then we've got something for you. All based at the one race village where you can chill with your mates after each days riding.

Sure am. I was booked in for the January race. I have a mate in Hobart. Now that it is postponed we have a crew of 7 going over on Wednesday.
Really looking forward to it.

Oh they did!
They had to cancel this afternoons stage due to the rain.
Its disappointing as they have done a lot of work on the course. Waiting
to hear about tomorrow.
