Ourimbah Club Gravity Enduro 23rd March - Round 1 - update

Due to the time required to run the 3 stages, rego will be between 7 and 8am only on the day of the event.
Online rego can be done prior to the event at https://www.registernow.com.au/mtba/...er.aspx?E=1866

More detailed information in relation to the clubs Gravity Enduro Series format can be seen below:
Round 1 is in one weeks time on the 23rd of March. All rounds will be run over three separate practise and race stages throughout the day. The $30.00 entry fee will include shuttle buses and trailers for use throughout the day. Riders can choose to ride up Red Hill Rd if they wish at any time during the day. No riding up Dentel Hill fire trail or the downhill track will be permitted due to safety concerns. Online registration is encouraged and available at: www.registernow.com.au/mtba/eregister.aspx?E=1866

There will be limited onsite registration from 7 am till 8 am on the morning of the event. Event schedule will be as follows:

7am – 8am Onsite registration (rego closes at 8:30 am)
8am – 9am Practise Session-Stage One Track
9:30am – 10:30am Race Runs-Stage One Track
10:30am – 11:30am Practise Session-Stage Two Track
12noon – 1pm Race Runs-Stage Two Track
1pm – 2pm Practise Session – Stage Three Track
2:30pm – 3:30pm Race Runs-Stage Three Track

We will run normal downhill classes, but in reverse order for each stage, so that faster riders have a greater chance of a clear track for their race runs. Depending on rider numbers on the day, start gaps will start at 30 seconds. If we have a high attendance we can still reduce this to 20 seconds if required. Each riders start time for each stage race run will be displayed at the start gate, finish gate and the registration/carpark areas on the day. It is the riders’ responsibility to be at the start on time for their race run for each stage. If you miss your start time, then the elapsed time accumulates onto your race time. Your times for the three race runs determines your position on the day and your points score for the end of the year. Stages will be four to five kilometres in length with approximately 70% descending and 30% climbing on each stage. Even with shuttling, riders will cover about 30 to 35 kms throughout the day, on technical and demanding trails.

Thanks to you and Gary

Good Job on the tracks and organisation, and for getting the results up already!

Tracks were hard work but great fun, really liked the new sections but could have done with a motor......

See you next Time.

Hi Guys
These are the results
Hey thanks for yesterday, it's was a great day. I noticed on run 2 my time (number3 A division) is slower than number 2 A division, this must be a mistake because I passed rider number 2 on that run. I think the finnish times have been mixed up.
Thanks Shane
