International Pedal clearance - all flats

I really want them to be legit but there’s just no way…. Is there???
I could see the same factory, moulds or cnc programming being used or whatever but surely the materials can’t be the same. Alloys, spindle material, bearings, even pins must be cheaper materials. I’ve got a set of Tmacs and they’ve put up with more abuse than any other pedal I’ve owned. I can’t imagine these Ali ones are made of all the same stuff for that price.

Will let you know.... that's my sense but I thought I'd take a look anyways.

In reading the reviews I got the feeling that there might be slight imperfections, so perhaps these are ones that didnt come off the assembly line perfectly and Deity flogs them off and denies any knowledge, or perhaps they're just straight knock offs and they'll fall apart.

Alright. Well the TMACs have arrived.

I can’t tell if they’re real or not.

Going to compare them to a mates set.

The true test will be on the trail @northvanguy . I had some copies of something a long time back and side by side they seemed identical but one day on the trails and I had bent the knick offs.

well after some consideration and based on the fact that I can get 100% refund if I return I've decided to return.

As much as they look and feel identical to the real TMACs i just dont want to risk snapping a pedal axle off a drop and hurting myself.

The store isnt denying their fake, but given the box says "made in Taiwan" and these came from China (I'm even surprised anyone in China has the nerve to call it Taiwan) it basically confirms they're not real.

If anyone on here wants them and wants to take the risk, for $75 they're yours, otherwise they'll go back tomorrow.

Isn't Taiwan part of China? ;)

Fortunately all the pedals for sale by me are authentic genuine items! But I am not offering a refund service.

I am now down 1 pair of the plastics and 1 pair of the spank spoons. I want to see the back of these things and a nice clear shelf! Shoot me a pm and offer me what you think any of this stuff us worth.

What’d you ever do with these?

I ended up returning them for full refund including shipping costs.

Decided once I knew 100% they were knock offs that I didn’t want to risk it.

Probably should have tried them but I’m an idiot. Probably should have written it all out in the fuckwits thread.

Better to play it safe with some parts @northvanguy . If you snap a pedal axle on a big send you could smash your balls on the seat pretty hard! I think you would like the spank pedals I have.

1 set of the dmr v11 have been sold.

Would‘ve been cool to get a ride report from these
