I could see the same factory, moulds or cnc programming being used or whatever but surely the materials can’t be the same. Alloys, spindle material, bearings, even pins must be cheaper materials. I’ve got a set of Tmacs and they’ve put up with more abuse than any other pedal I’ve owned. I can’t imagine these Ali ones are made of all the same stuff for that price.I really want them to be legit but there’s just no way…. Is there???
Isn't Taiwan part of China?well after some consideration and based on the fact that I can get 100% refund if I return I've decided to return.
As much as they look and feel identical to the real TMACs i just dont want to risk snapping a pedal axle off a drop and hurting myself.
The store isnt denying their fake, but given the box says "made in Taiwan" and these came from China (I'm even surprised anyone in China has the nerve to call it Taiwan) it basically confirms they're not real.
If anyone on here wants them and wants to take the risk, for $75 they're yours, otherwise they'll go back tomorrow.
