Pointless new standards - name and shame the "innovators".

Have a further look. Existing valves adaptable, it just screws in as a valve core. I don't immediately hate it.
No, that does look like a good little upgrade. Depends how much they want to charge for it...

I must say it looks like an improvement on Presta valves. I've always hated Presta valves. Still, there's a valve that's been around for decades, that perfectly fine for MTB, is more widely used than Presta, and is much more user friendly. The Schrader valve!

You will need the pump head, or pump head conversion adaptor.

Ok, thats cheap enough. Looks like its time for a pointless bling purchase :)

Oh - will also need a mini pump... Not that ive brought it out of the camelback in a very long time. Suppose i could just keep a presta valve core in the camelback as well if it came to that.

The product of a partnership between Schwalbe and Clik Valve, the new product will be available from either brand starting in August or September,

When I'm commuting (ie not in the last month with this fucking RSV virus...) the roadie needs tyre pressures check every second day really. The roads are horrible and very pressure sensitive - ie run the 28mm tubeless as low as I can get away with without the handling getting screwy in the front. I can see me appreciating this.

Lies! You must need a gravel bike! NBD for @Haakon!

I'm assuming the hex down the guts in one of the photos is how the ball valve assembly is tightened on to the valve stem...?
