All wheels have the capacity to be tubeless.

Set them up ghetto with 20" tubes and some sealant. Cut the tube down the middle, put it on the rim, pu the tire on, add the sealant, pump it up then trim the tube. Its very easy to do, however you do need access to a compressor to set the bead, so to speak.

Ive done it on MAVIC 717's, 321's and transistion revolution 32 wheels and it works everytime. Its setup on my DT SWISS FR600 rims which I think are the same as what you have on your wheelset.

WORD.
I have done heaps of tubeless this way without any drama's.I normally seat the bead first then let the air out and then put the sealant through the valve stem and re inflate the tyre, a bit less mess this way.

Hey SideFX, sweet Nomad, it looks like a sh1t load of fun.

I know its not a full AM rig, but its what I ride on it.
Its a Trek Fuel Ex9 frame with all 07 gear on it. I got a frame warranty on my 07 model and trek delivered. Giving me an upgraded frame, including a DRCV shock. Amazing frame I say. Any way here it is.

Im currently getting new bits for it including:
- Chromag Acute Bars
- Chromag Ranger Stem
- Chromag Trailmaster DT Saddle
- Fox Fit Terralogic 120mm
- Easton Haven Wheelset
- Maxxis Adrent 2.25's
- ODI Ruffian Grips
- Frameskins

I'll update once its together. I can't wait.
Then eventually and XO 2x10 group set.

By the way loving the bikes in this thread !!

Ditto I do it this way as well. I did the tyres on my Yeti this way and it has worked fine and I run about 30psi and no burps. But the real test is when I go tubeless on my Demo9 that will test them I reckon.

All you need is patience and lots of soapy water to get those beads seated especially with folding tyres! ;)

Cheers.

Looking at getting back into the All Mountain/Trail side of riding. Having a pure DH dedicated bike only isn't very versatile.

Was just wondering what experience people have had with the new Yeti SB-66. I know it is brand new to the market and to my knowledge not released yet. That said I know quite a few members on here who are very much so up to date with their product etc and was was curious as to whether anyone has seen one in the flesh or better yet had a pedal at any bikes shows etc. If not what are people's opinions?

I am considering a SB-66 along with a few other options, but from what I have read the new Switch Technology sounds the goods. Only thing at the moment that has me concerned is its top tube length. Most rival bikes, even its step brother the 575 have top tubes lengths hovering around the 22.5-23.4 inch length. The SB-66 has a top tube length of 24.1' (Medium). Only concern it won't be as playful on the decents as a Specialized Enduro or the likes.

I suggest starting your own thread question on this exact bike, Jared Graves answered a question on this not long ago, put it up and see if he or anybody else answers, from what i have heard( and i'm no Yeti fanboy ), they are sensational bikes and the concept of them works superbly!
