I've spent a bit of time on a Double Barrel in my V10. I'm very happy with this shock. The damper control is just amazing and the build quality is exceptional. I'm running 40% sag, but the high speed compression can be tuned to slow things up at the end of the stroke quite dramatically. The remaining travel is still very useable. I've actually never felt the shock bottom out, but it's definitely been down there. It wasn't a cheap option, but I'd certainly buy another one if faced with the same decision again. I'd love to know how this shock goes in an M6.

I've herd a few reviews on the cane creek double barrel on the new 09 Santa Cruz Nomad and they say its the best shock they've ever used. Its a bit heavier and f@#king expensive but well worth it. At the same time I haven't a problem with my dhx 5 air shock and its 1/3 of the price.
