Skipping gear under load

Seems like it’s skipping trying to change gears. Cable seems good (only 6 months old). My bet is on hanger.

Try replacing the cable outer/s. Ghost shifting is most typically a cable problem. New inners do stretch & need a tweak, but the outers do wear & get grabby too. They wear where the inner runs through on bends, and get cruddy & rusty & rough.


If it's a SRAM Eagle derailleur, any level, if it's got the tiniest twist it's out of whack and totally fucked.

Make sure everything is tight around the rear wheel like the through axle, derailleur and hanger

Problem solved. The hanger was bent outward a little bit.
