He was riding XC. Steve Jones is not DH. Bunya forest (where steve jones is located) has some excellent XC riding.

I went this afternoon. Noticed the kicker was broken so me and a mate started to build a dirt kicker, but we only got to work for like 15 minutes before we left so its pretty shitty.
 
Anybody up for an afternoon session to finish this little dirt kicker where the NS was and to just have a ride?
 
That would be an alright step down if:

A) there was a run in
B) a well made dirt kicker

Sounds good. Might go out 2m and fix some shit up.
