Pics look awesome darl! P.s fat my butt missy, you train more often than I get to LOOK at my bike!

Keen to get back into this year as I'm looking into moving to the GC....
i meant my riding, lol. got two State plates for coming last...even if i was the oldest and a novice to boot, doesn't seem quite right. still, it's onwards and upwards for April at the Mount.... :fat:

racing tonight, looking forward to it now i've had a few days off.

and i've heard word that Nats are being held in Brissie next year, so there's something else to prompt your move :fat:

Lol ... You put it at the pointy end of the field and it was the talk of the pits :)
Ooh do tell!! haha. Only normally hear wispers and sly comments....typical answer being "if you have an issue with it...you should be in front of me anyway!" hahaha.

Was an awesome race day though. Although the final result sucked, it was still great racing which is what i wanted...........and i was coming back from "injury" lol

was the last time you actually rode the last time you came to pr like mid last year?
Nahh mate I rode and coached down in Casino up till September last year when exams kicked in. By the time that was over and I came back from South America, racing was off season.

Hahah the only thing I'm smashing on a weekend right now is back to back to BACK shifts between my home bar and various festivals in brissy/gold coast

Nationals Mt Gambier

Just received confirmation from Bmxa that my mtb is eligible for nationals so long as it conforms to a couple of measurements. Bars 29" and wheels fully inflated 26" or less....it's now go time lol

Gates on hardtails are awesome haha.

Tyres i'm using are geax mezcals, purely for their small bag size. I think they're 1.9's but they measure just a fraction under 26". Luckily they don't grip too bad either :D

^^aha. BennyMac and i had friendly "words" last night measuring up the rims on my hardtail and his with our different tyres trying to figure how you'd do it. :fat: awesome :fat: have you ridden the Mt Gambier track at all? i just looked up a few reviews on those Mezcals, they look/sound pretty good but you may find them a bit slippy in the corners at the Mount - the surface there is crushed volcanic ash, interesting stuff. i found it a bit loose in the second and third corners on my Siren's. are you riding State round there this weekend? we've nom'd already for both cruiser and Retro for this weekend but have pulled out of the Nationals due to cashflow issues.

hey raymo you could be the man to answer a question..

my son has a gt ruckus with DJ3 bomber forks. Whats the best way to set up a nice rebound etc for him? how much psi and stuff.

thanks!

if he is riding at a bmx track... id suggest high psi with a slow ish rebound

+1 to that. If its trail riding, dj'ing I'd have the rebound just slow enough that it doesn't "spring" back. For Bmx though I have it a bit slower again to try and reduce fork movement with the compression as hard as I can get it. Only running coil sprung argyles I have the compression knob on full and all the preload spacers that came with it fitted. Still has movement but not plush free flowing movement, nice and stiff but without being like a rigid fork. Best for you to mess around with different psi's until he likes the feel for how he's going to ride it......hope that helps

so what my mate/colleague has dubbed the 60 day challenge starts on monday. Basically going to supplement all of the riding/training i do at the moment by also hitting the gym. he also talked about no more maccas and no alcohol, but i basically already have that covered ;) just gotta get burrito off the maccas as well :p
hopefully i will see some improvements in power etc!
