I am same size and also trying to chose a bike with no XLs to demo. What do you think of new Marin Alpine Trail? Reach is 490 and stack is 642.

That Marin looks really good. The XL geo is new-school-ish and it's nice to see a different spec sheet from all the GX/Guide/RS stuff.

I am following this with great interest as I am looking for a similar bike. I have a Canfield Nimble 9 HT that I love and am looking for similar geo numbers with a slacker head angle.

So far the GT sensor looks good, but I think I would prefer more travel up front. Does anyone know if the GT can run a 140 0r 150mm fork?

Still waiting a couple weeks for delivery. This article says “he geometry and ride attitude of the Sensor is nothing short of badass, but the bike is dressed in khakis and a button down... It should also have a Fox DPX2 shock and 36 fork, and front travel should be 140 millimeters. I’m gonna leave it 130 mm travel up front and run a 27.5 wheel out back. Reverse mullet style. If that doesn’t make me feel like a maroon goon I’ll go 140 front and 29 rear.
