Selection criteria

1. High-level administrative skills including an ability to maintain project financial spreadsheets and databases, paying particular attention to accuracy and detail.

2. Ability to prioritise workflow, multitask and implement time management principles.

3. Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a small team, maintaining absolute confidentially at all times.

4. High level of oral and written communications skills.

5. Good working knowledge of a range of information technology software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint.

6. Knowledge of functions of Emergency Management NSW and the emergency management arrangements and a willingness to be trained and work during emergency operations.
