The Green Rocketship

Looks mint.
That green is always awesome.
No dropper. Yet?
Is that a Motherstrap? Am a big fan of those.
Can happily ditch the backpack for all but the epic rides.

Some Onza Skinwalls would look good IMO ... Green with the Tan and Black /gold highlights :thumb:

we have some of the new Svelts or Canis or the Lynx has been surprising the Marathon guys we've had on them.

No dropper on this thing for now. It's basically a XC/winter bike. My dually has a dropper that I love dearly.

As for tan wall tyres. I think you're right, it would look good! Might look into it.

Oh and it's the Back Country strap for the tube, 2xCo2 canisters and a pair of levers. Will swap it between both bikes when I'm not using a pack!

Have been neglecting this one for a while since I built up the Primer. Rained this afternoon so I thought I'd better use it for its intended purpose. Cold, dark and wet winter nights. That front tyre will be getting switched out asap after tonight, the Racing Ralph is a dog in the wet haha.

Its reminding me a lot of my old Cotic Soul. Which is a good thing because I love that bike and I was hoping this would be more of the same, just with bigger wheels.

Getting my Solaris tuned up over the next couple of weeks. Can't wait to hit the singletrack on it again after using it as a commuter the last 6 months!

Ayy at least you're living up to your forum name!
Haha hell yeah. I've got a 2.6 Nobby Nic sitting in the shed that was going to go on the Riot before I sold it. Think it'll be on the front end of this by this weekend

The real picture isn't as good as the mental pic I had. I'd be going back to all black tyres, if appearance matters.

Yeah same boat. Will ride it for a while, let it get dirty and then reform my opinion I think. Might look better on something not green *Looks at the black bike in the corner*

Such a nice bike. Personally I love the pops of colour, I reckon it looks hot either black or tan. How do you enjoy the ride, is it as lively as the soul?
I sold my Soul frame earlier this year and replaced it with a Stanton Sherpa, with intention of building a very similar setup to this

Nice work on the Sherpa. I was 'this' close to pulling the trigger on one when they were clearing out old stock. Would love to build one.

As for the liveliness. I haven't had enough seat time on it yet to figure it out. Not as nimble as the Soul (26" vs 29") and it feels a bit rougher. But the roughness is probably the carbon rims compared to aluminium on my Soul.

More time will tell, but it is a fast bike that's for sure.

Photo time! Busted another rear nipple the other day. Just riding along on the road of all places. Decided to go back to normal black tyres so I could try the 2.6" Nobby Nic I've had sitting in the shed for a while. Will make an effort to bring this out for a ride this week sometime rather than the road bike
