I got to catch an Australian Hip hop group when i went to see House of Pain a couple of weeks ago. Check em out. They're called "The Havknots". They have a wicked DJ turning the wheels for em too!!!

So those who were discussing OFWGKTA and tyler, the creator... What did you guys think of his album Goblin? IMO it didn't live up to my standards... Definitely preffered Bastard over it...

I haven't given the album a proper listen but Guru from Gangstarr did a full jazz/hip hop album.

Guru has series of Jazz/Hip Hop albums..
Jazzmatazz - I think there are about 3 or 4 albums in the series - and they're quite good.

Anyone seen the ATCQ doco - Beats, Rhymes and Life?

Really interesting insight into their origins and why they broke up.

Re: Grits, I liked it when I was 15 or so and not really into hip hop, these days I think it's thoroughly average.

I read The Tao Of Wu recently, it's an interesting read for anyone that likes RZA. It's quite philosophical, but in a lay mans way, so it's very easy to read. Check it out if you're interested!
