There's really nothing about the content of this music video that isn't a stereotype of hiphop - blunts, malt liquor and loitering on street corners - but the combination of the melancholy of the beat and the 16mm filming makes it pretty incredible.
 
Been going back through the vinyl collection before moving house. Moment of truth will probably stay.

Quality posts. Cheers for reminding me to listen to the ecstatic again. I played it like crazy when it dropped but completely forgot about it after a HDD crash destroyed my music library a couple of years back.
You should check out that Cannibal Ox album if you haven't already.

Horrorshow and Home Brew have announced their September-November tour. Just bought tickets for Canberra and Sydney. If I never see another show I'll die happy.
