Agreed that S2 True Detective was a bit underwhelming but I think that was more to do with the fact that S1 was just so damn good and seemed to come out of nowhere.
Might have to go back and re-watch S2/3 to see if I get into them more with a bit of distance.
Last movie I last watched was Baby Driver (again) because despite the Spacey in the room I can’t get over how good the choreography/sound track is. Very entertaining.
Prior to that was the
worst film I have seen in a long time: Hard Kill. It was irredeemably bad. I think even
@moorey would struggle. Premise is as cliche as they come, completely lacks any semblance of plot, acting is fucking atrocious and the special effects are so bad as to make even the fight scenes (which are the only thing you’re here for) just embarrassing to watch. Top it off with a weak as piss “twist” that they don’t even have the heart to pursue for more than all of 3 scenes and it’s just entirely forgettable.
