The QUICK question thread.....

Yes, don't want hot date to see long lawns, dirty dishes, unwashed cloths or the porno collection. You have been using chrome in incognito mode right?

I'm an apple man I use safari, but I bought something from pushys last so when you hit p in safari that comes up first thank god haha

How long would a letter post take to get from south of Sydney to the central coast, I was charged $8 by some one on here for postage but they only sent it via letter post for $1.40 they apparently sent it tues still hasn't turned up! Pretty fuxking livid right now. On a side note when you get charged $8 postage and I asked numerous times for a tracking number you'd think that would indicate you buy a 500g satchel. I really hope it turned up. Being screwed over for $38 isn't something you'd expect from someone on here.

From Sydney to the Central coast would be 3 days but could take 5 days. Some people see freight as a complete process from packaging it up to taking it to the post office. I know some of the Chainrings I ordered are the standard $9.95 post but show up in envelopes with $1.40 postage.

Expectation is a bitch and needs to be set at the time of negotiation. The problem with not being 100% clear on what is going to happen is both parties think they are getting reamed. With out knowing the story if it was made clear at the time of the transaction you would get a tracking number then they should have supplied one.

Quite often people are just lazy and slack not being malicious. I would give it another day or 2 until getting too upset.

Yeah I'd never expect any dodgy bastards on rb... Not many anyway.

Austpost have an estimation tool.

I'd say 1-4 business days to be the default so it may be in your letterbox right now.

Tries to render the fat out of a chizo sausage last night and not much fat came out. Is there a nack to it such as render on very slow heat or fast? I tried on medium heat with poor results. Maybe it just had hardly any fat to start with.

Quickie - I have to log-in every time I come here or if I have been away from the forum for approx 10 mins, is this a forum setting somewhere ??? Cheers

I assume you mean chorizo? But hey all sausage has fat...lots of it. In my experience the fat is best retrieved on high heat. Depending on what you're trying to do, put the sausage in a saucepan with some water. Lid on and simmer for good amount of time. Let it cool and the fat will set on top of the water.

I stay logged in everywhere else except here... no tapatalk either.

OK, what operating system and browser are you using? Include versions. I don't think the issue it's with the forum server, most likely your computer.

Yeah that sausage, high heat rendered not much, maybe my expectations on how much I can get out of the sausage is too high. I'll try the low and slow method then and report back.

Cut them open as well. More exposure and exit space.

Strange you are only being logged out of rb, normally a global setting to stop cookies being set would log you out of all sites where a log in is required.

The setting to check is unuder Options > Under the hood > under Privacy select Content Settings > Select Allow local data to be set in cookies

Make sure the 2 checkboxes below this are unchecked.

Clear all browsing data and start again. If that does not work try a different browser like Firefox and see if the same thing happens.

Browser plug ins can do weird stuff also so disabling them as also recommended to troubleshoot.
