Thoughts on Stan's 3.30 hubs

OK still going anyone have an opinion about Novatec

Novatec use a 15mm axle. They make a steel axle and an alu axle. Alu axle is weaker and typically results in freehub failure at the pawls or the axle itself breaking.

If this hub weighs 274g it probably has the alu axle. Steel axle version is bullet proof. You can retrofit the steel axle later.

Then its probably steel. They also do a steel freehub which is stronger, so could possibly be steel freehub and alu axle. Maybe you can ask seller.

I've got some Stans Flow S1 wheels on DT350's off my Optic C1 if you want them. 29x29mm internal width.

I have a 27.5 Stan's ZTR Crest built with Novatec D711/712SB hubs I think they have same flange size and offset as the Stan's 3.30 hub.
