Gday all!

Just wondering about the Victorian State Series Vets class

How many are usually in it?

Whats the skill level of the riders?

Does it run in every event?

What times are they getting (ie: You Yangs)

Just wondering wether or not to have a crack this year now im 30 and wont have to be up against 19 year old super quicks! (not saying ua 30+ are slow, but im sure you get what im saying!)

Would love to go for a ride with anyone that rides youies often as well!

Vets is pretty competitive with a quite a few riders racing it - there are some very quick guys who could give the elite guys a serious run for their money.

I'm not very competitive. But that's more an indication of my skill, not my mental disposition.

i'm going up to mt buller on the 26th jan for the vic dh series. i've got a spare seat and bike space in my van if anyone is keen for a lift.

I too am heading up there with bike space available - although personally I'm not riding due to a broken collar bone, so planning to head up Sat. morning and back to Melb. Monday sometime...

Wont be there for early practice on Saturday, but any company on the way is more than welcome... Free fuel also, and if you're willing to sleep on the couch/floor there is also free accomodation (Sat & Sun night - Arlberg Hotel, Alpine room) available also...
