Pre Race Stuff and Race Results

You will be able to follow the race results on this website. It is currently loaded with the results from the 2012 Australian Solo 24Hr Champs if you want to have a play around and get used to it. Thanks to Andrew Hall and Jack Henderson for their help in setting it up.

Looks like the start will be at 1300 local time, so just over 24 hours to go until it gets underway. The finish time will be 2100 Sunday (East-Australia time).

There are some pre-race happy snaps in this album, and I will open another one for the race once the race has started.

Wow, what a race! Almost half way and it looks like Jason, Jess Merryl and Andrew are all in control of their classes. But what happened to Bec Parkes?
This is much more exciting than watching footy.

Jason is about 3/4 of a lap in front of 2nd, but Bruno Gomes has moved up into 3rd. Jess has about 24 minutes on Rickie Cotter. I think Bec Parkes is having some calf problems and she has taken a break.

7 Hours to go. Jason has lapped the field and is 1 Lap + 12 minutes ahead of 2nd placed Thomas Widhalm fro Austria. Jess in 43 minutes ahead of Rickie Cotter (UK) in the Women.

Brisbane nutter Matt_dog Powell is leading SS category and awesome shebeast Rach Edwards (also Brisbane based) is leading female 35-39, by lots.
