For sure. Just getting into the whole "math rock" thing. Been listening to a lot of Battles & Don Cabellaro too.
Seeing these guys live next month; looking forward to it.

Love the very minimal style of this track and the bassline carries it but the child like voice makes the lyrics hard to believe.

Reminds me of this old one.

I heard it on thr radio first and assumed it was a child. It seemed better that way

Its a really really good movie, but the soundtrack is amazing. I had this pumping in the rental car as I drove up Yosemite Valley - seemed like suitably grand music for the scenery.

Apple Music put playlists up of all the Triple J Hottest 100's since 1993. I spent a few hours skipping through the lists and playing bits of each song I liked and damn was it good! The mid to late nineties was my favorite vintage of music, particularly the electronic stuff and hearing some of the stuff I liked but never bought was unreal.
Mastodon dropped a new tune over the weekend too!

Oh hell yeah!!! That album is in my ten albums I'd take to a lonely island.

Do you ah, do you know this happened? Its a new track from an upcoming album. Heaps of people just assumed they were done and are being surprised by this:

I remember seeing these guys at a Big Day Out years ago.

All was going well until the mosh pit got too rough and they walked

Big Day Out mosh pits are horrible, I never went in them. Too many drunk kids being morons...

Best behaved mosh pit I was ever in was at a Slayer gig - adults who knew the etiquette.

I remember it well, they called out for people to stop being fuckwits and they didn't so they called them black sheep and walked off. Thanks for wrecking that show for me you fucking wankers. In summary; festivals suck sloppy turds. Never again.
