weeell , its little course i have mapped out - Rode on Sunday - was all good .

As i was in Beast Mode ( after a challenging day at work ) i was giving it hell and come round a corner - tree branch was done , cracked me in the face ( not my face I'm pretty ) , which involved ploughing into the sticks .... which got mangled in the NEW REAR WHEEL - wheel is okay , but the speed sensor wire is detached ....
Which means lazy basstard must pedal it home !
My speed sensor wire is routed through the chain stay so if I have the same issue I have done a big boo boo

Thanks for all the bananas
Well of you have more than one set of pedals...you'll know soon enough by trialling the other set.
Oh! I seriously thought he meant swapping left for right. That seemed like an exceedingly bad idea lol.

Not sure if my other pedals can be removed. I likely forgot to grease them too.. 6 years ago.

Definitely not 1 or 3.

And 2 is a raceface cinch thingy.

Definitely sounds like it's coming from the front somewhere. Moisture under grips hey
1 - axle inside the pedal body, not the threaded stub. I've had this happen once. Pulled the body off, greased like making fruit porn, reassembled, problem solved.

4 - legit. Moisture loves getting under your grips. Lock on grips not old style slide on.

I wouldn't fix it. You think you're fit now, imagine how fit you'll be riding an ebike with no motor.

Definitely gonna check the grips.

I had the pedals apart for a clean and grease not that long ago, so would be surprised if it is that already.

So just on the off chance I chased a random creak for a few months turned out to be my shoes - Specifically my shoes rubbing on the pedal interface in certain situations.

Soooo - I fitted the Mudguard that fox makes for the 36/38 Forks and its great - no cable ties needed it actually bolts on and looks factory - I usually avoid mudguards as I hate the way the generic ones mount.

Thinking of getting 36 forks for the Ripley now just so I can buy another guard :)

The Ripley has a 34 doesn’t it? Get one of the Syncros guards - they screw into the arch of the old 36/34
