Prepped and painted it......
Nice. Have you got your own thread on this?? Interested in doing the same for a frame of mine in winter, just tossing up if I can be stuffed.. I know there is a large thread on it by plow, but always keen to see what others do etc..

No thread, just 320 grit paper hand sand then primer putty coat x2 let dry , hand sand with finer paper then base coat and clears to follow up.....
I love building simple single speed dirt jumpers......

Trek Demo day Stromlo.

Superfly 9.8 SL 29er. After being very surprised at how much awesome the Spesh Epic WC was at the Specialised demo day, this bike has continued the process of me rethinking my position on 29ers!!

Super quick bike, blitzed pretty much every Strava segment I had on the main lap to the top and down Skyline etc.

Fuel EX 9.8 650B - nice, not as a nice as a Stumpy or Trance. Caveat is setup was a bit crap, shifter/lever postion horrid and effected he ride even though I tried to ignore it, and the fork had too much air in it. Both of which I could have sorted quick enough if I'd bothered to stop... But I just didn't really like this bike. It felt dull and cumbersome. Technically I think it's a good bike and I'm sure I'd like it better with soem fettling, but...

Felt ill all day so no riding for me today . Instead I cleaned and lubed both bikes and hopefully I will wake up better in the morning so I can hit the trail before work .

Thanks for the pics and advice. You make the process sound easy.... I've recently got my first single speed dj bike and gotta say, it's the simplicity that makes it enjoyable to ride! Soo quiet, I love that. How to do you go about bogging up small dents?? Thanks.

SB5c? Looks hawt!
yeppppp sexy fucking thing (looks better than the 6c IMO)

only gripe..... $4.2k~ for a frame... with no internal routing (albeit dropper)..... blah blah yes Graves/yeti riders and mechanics wanted ease of serviceability while #Nduro'ing, but's really a boner killer in my part
