My sentiments exactly, how do we sleep at night?

There have been alot of threads like this buddy, like you're favourite song thread ect. But it could be time for anew.

I like basically everything but atm I've been listening to alot of Electro. Thats right ELECTRO. Bite me.

Good day.

Lets face it, no one ever reads what anyone else listens to so ill say 'the highschool musical soundtrack' and this...oh look! You can download it! Lets see how long it takes folk to pass judgment here eh!

"Play it for guests and time how long it takes for people to get hot under the collar - whether they are porn fans or not."

And I dont usually listen to music when I ride...detracts from the experience (as well as the need for all the sences when riding) so if its gunna be anything, its gunna be ^^ that.

Cameron_15, you get called an emo cause the 'death metal' you listen to is basically crappy metalcore that discovered Cannibal Corpse too weeks ago.

I ride for fun, which can mean anything from commute to DH, so I won't bother with that, and listen to anything, Hardly any music influences the way I ride. Currently listening to late eighties death metal and throwbacks, Bay area thrash, heaps of powerviolence and (proper) grind, as well as classic NY hip hop and early nineties detroit electro (when it still had credibility and hadnt descended into the electro house shit people listen to these days). I know it's specific but the sounds are distinct enough imo.

well i don't really listen to much death metal, Parkway Drive is about it and they aren't at all my favorites. i much rather metal like Trivium, In Flames, Unearth... the other stuff is black metal by Children of Bodom and Dragon force. but my favorite is metal and heavier but not too heavy stuff by bands like Trivium, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet for My Valentine.

I also like Linkin Park who have done a lot of rap and hip hop lately as well as heavier more screamy stuff.

people call me Emo because the vast majority of music i listen to isn't made by a computer. i still like good hardstyle music which has a lot more thought put into the songs. Blutonium makes some very good music that i like.

my hair isn't black, i have no peircings, i don't wear all black clothes... but i'm emo because i listen to Rock/metal music.

and for the record, i hate bands like cannibal corpse that have disgusting messed up lyrics and can't play there instruments so instead bash them and play random chords.

heavy stuff by bands like Trivium, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet for My Valentine are not hardcore, or hardcore metal. you should try out some demon hunter, opeth, the duskfall, and messuggah. thats hardcore. + escape the fate is about 100 times betta then atryu. daron force is pretty shit, its like mario kart music speed up by 156461694316846136486.

any way. i dont listen to any thing when i ride but i like death metal, metal and hardcore mtb movies music is kool to and the same as tanacious D.

i ride Dh and 4x

Cameron_15 don't start talking about something you know little about, especially music and genres when Roasted is on the scene.

It's obsurd to even think that genres are restricted by what discipline you ride and visa-versa.

No, just no. Most death metal musicians are VERY proficient technically. To say it is just bashing instruments is missing the point:
Dave Slave on bass, try to play what he does here:

Bass shredding sounds like crap. Take it from a bass player.

Metal bassists are extremely skilled, they just lack the 'soul' of funk bass players. Like buckethead with guitar. Extremely skilled, no soul.

Anyone who says they listen to music and then says 'I listen to [insert one of a billion new subgenres] metal.......' doesn't listen to music, they listen to metal. same with any other genre.

I like whatever slipknot play (is it nu metal?)/punk on the road, jazz for downhill, and anything else I've got on my ipod for anything else. Primus get a genre to themselves.

I definetely agree with that statment. MOST death metal musicians are very good at what they play, but in my opinion Cannibal Corpse Are not. There lyrics are foul and disgusting and lastly, i will not listen to a band that is BANNED from playing music in Australia,That to me, represents a bad band.

And, i like this version of their song Much much better. it gives a good indication to their messed up lyrics too.

Yes, i agree there are some very good death metal Musicians out their, Dave Slave is an amazing Bass Guitarist who plays bass like a lead Guitarist. and no, i can't play what he can on the bass.
