1. Dan McConnell (dominated!)

Not to mention that Paul Van Der Ploeg who won the under 23 title finished 3rd outright in that race!

Yeah, apologies for Paul's omission in my recap, I couldn't recall his name and didn't want to get it wrong - An awesome result!

Read the short course report - how is Katherine O'Shae - just bike damage and not injured I hope?

Sucks to read Heather Logie binned it in an XCC race *again*, this time putting her out of the race. Give it some time, that girl is just going to get quicker.

And 5th was Jason English on a barnstorming run home.

If my numbers are correct he passed four riders in the last lap, including one just on the line, to move from 9th to 5th.

Not bad for a world 24hour solo champ

If we run a club race as "poorly" as the Elite Mens race at Adelaide we would get many complaints:
1/ A number of the transponders didn't match the riders, in the first results posted a rider who was in Vic with the "runs" did 2 22min laps before a DNF?
2/ Therefore the announcer kept calling out the wrong names of riders for the whole 2hr race, at one stage even admitting to calling the wrong riders name!
3/ Wrong names were coming up on the electronic board.
4/ Results were posted with the wrong riders names and placings on them
5/ Sid was on the results but didn't get on the podium.
Eventually it was all sorted??
What a comedy act!
