New rear tyre.. 2.25 crossmark up from the old 2.1.. suggestions for a matching front in a ust casing?
I just put a 2.25 nobby on the front of my girlfriends bike which is running a 2.1 crossmark on the rear. Not sure how it will go, but i've got some 2.1 maxxiss ignitors i can put on if she doesn't like the bigger tyre up front.New rear tyre.. 2.25 crossmark up from the old 2.1.. suggestions for a matching front in a ust casing?
Any reason you didn't jump head first into the 20th century and go 9sp, let alone 10?I upgraded it from 7 speed to 8 speed.
What's the 95 missing?Looked at it on the bike stand and got pissed off that i dont have all the parts to put it back together and ride the damn thing
A 3" wheel reduction :third:What's the 95 missing?
Personally, I think there are places that alloy can stay away from on my bike, there is one, nipples and rotor bolts also. I'l take the 30 gram weight penalty thanks.Rode it up the Oaks until this happened

I'm thinking the chainringbolt must have wiggled loose, and then when I tried to mash some power down, the unsupported chainring just shredded!
2.35 HighRoller, wouldn't bother with the UST, regular run tubeless fineNew rear tyre.. 2.25 crossmark up from the old 2.1.. suggestions for a matching front in a ust casing?
run a 26" on the back? or 27.5"Modded a single speed guide...... ........ only to learn that 29er wheels don't stop a steep head angle being a steep head angle when riding down/off a large rock and possibly broke little finger after going over bars.
I run a Yess ETR-D tensioner on my Anthem SS. It works very nicelyModded a single speed guide a bit so I could keep the guide rings each side of the Alfines sprocket, as the Anthem it's on has a surprising amount of chain growth. Ran the cable and hose along top of swing-arm to lessen cable rub than Giants retarded routing. Luckily had some bottle cage mount guides, but they'd be easy to make anyway. Looks much tidier. Then took it for a test ride, only to learn that 29er wheels don't stop a steep head angle being a steep head angle when riding down/off a large rock and possibly broke little finger after going over bars.
Rod, you need one of these - Paul Components - Melvinhttp://www.paulcomp.com/melvin.htmlModded a single speed guide a bit so I could keep the guide rings each side of the Alfines sprocket, as the Anthem it's on has a surprising amount of chain growth.
