Yeah, not my thing either but fun to watch.

I’m a big fan though of the Icon Derelicts.

Presume you will be ok with triumph providing the engines for Moto2 next year? Not sure if the 765 is a development or distant cousin of the 675 in your bike.

The Skid Factory is pretty good too, for the aussie flavour. They're currently bolting an FG turbo Barra into an ancient Bedford van which is reasonably mental!

And note the subtle skid factory reference in the latest Project Binky episode? Love the British humour in Binky. Discovered Binky while off sick from work about a year ago and impatiently wait for updates now.

Skid factory gets a bit slow at times, but is very thorough, unlike mighty car mods which is a bit light on real info at times.

Can’t wait to see triumph provide motors for moto 2. Testing has been positive. With the street triple already changing to 765 motor it is only a matter of time before new revised Daytona is released. They have lodged patent rights already in Europe and USA. Been a rocky road for the Daytona. Two years ago it looked like they were all over and concentrating on other models.

Maybe. It had the longest airbag along the roof I have ever seen. Big pile of plastic in the carport. Seats were surprisingly heavy.

I finally stripped open the Escort struts to rebuild the custom floating piston damper. Fucking things were shitty Monroe strut inserts. I was nearly as angry as @Haakon finding security had borrowed his walkman.

Now I have a problem. Front is going to be 100 to 150kg lighter because the Pinto and rocket box is being replaced by an alloy Duratec and 6 speed. And glass guards and bonnet. So going Group 4 like the rear will be too stiff as the springs are going from 250lb/in to 225 or 200. I can get Billies with B6 valving or go fully custom with spax or gaz.

Bugger.

The XR, mostly gutted. Reckon it lost 100+kg. Carpet and passenger airbag to go.

And because fuel consumption is a concern I bought this for $3.

Replacement Bilstein strut inserts arrived today. Need to bore the camberplate spacers to 15.9mm and check if I need insert spacers then reassemble. New strut cap nuts too! Have a set of 180lb/" coils to replace the 250s as a test. Lovely gear. Hoping the tune complements the Gp4 valving in the rear.

Strapped in a set of Eibach Pro Sport spring into the Megane today. Damn, wish I;d done that many years ago!! The non-renosport Megane are essentially French Corollas, with the associated handling talent. It was always "ok' and at least rode well.

But with a recent propery purchase, a Mgeane 3 GT220 wagon was out, so I gave it one last attempt at making the making the old Meg2 sedan not be a sloppy Camry like boring pos to drive.

Well, Eibach certainly know their shit. Its now actually decent to drive!

So the dampers are up to the task of taming the firmer springs?
Seem to be so far. Haven’t pushed them on tricky roads yet, but it’s certainly not jiggly or bouncy so far.

Eibach claim these are designed to work with OE dampers, but of course you always take that with a grain of salt! They don’t seem to be all that much firmer anyway, just a little bit. But more about being a bit lower and more progressive. Nicely thought out product in other words!

It’s a modest 25-30mm drop, not going to make speed humps a hassle
