Useless girlfriend meet absolutely hopeless boyfriend. It's like Romeo and Juliet but rather than feuding families killing everyone it's poorly assembled mtbs.I’m convinced this saga is more about the ‘useless boyfriend’ every day.

but I will still know I contaminated them... the shame!Cook pads. Clean caliper and rotor. Problem solved.
I do it all the time. Better than new.but I will still know I contaminated them... the shame!
In all honesty I've never been able to clean discs or broil pads enough to compete with factory fresh and unsullied replacements, it's like a 80-97% fix...
Shimano. Always Shimano. Where have you been for the last 12 yea.......NVM.DOT or Magurano Mineral Bloodoil? I feel like shimanos are the worst, hope the best...
I've used the method in this video a few times recently for myself and friends. It works and is also pretty quick.Cook pads. Clean caliper and rotor. Problem solved.
Can you retap and fit an insert? Post up some pics. This is part fuckwit/ part LTIH, but Shimano's new road shifters. I've now killed a second lever due to the design change to fine threads in a plastic body. The first lever has the brake hose threads stripping out during installation, this time it's the bleed port threads.. FML.
Shimano claim all is fine and user error (though multiple threads on the interwebs about the issues) so no warranty or discount for me

Complete with battery induced brakefadethey're just preparing the market for electronic brakes
No way. Battery keeps the brakes off. Safety feature. Lose battery and the brakes lock on.Complete with battery induced brakefade
That's going to be really handy when the batteries die halfway on a ride. A very nanny state feature. No way. Battery keeps the brakes off. Safety feature. Lose battery and the brakes lock on.
