Not frosty yet, but it won't be long.

Salty river sediment. Flood plain that hasn't been flooded in who knows how long. When it rains it turns to clag and strips paint of frames. Learnt that the hard way.

Still working on sifting the river clay out of it.

That's easy! Dissolve salt into water, filter out clay, dehydrate out salt, erect umbrella because it's raining dollars!

Sadly I retired an "old" friend today. This guy gave me a few years of joy before a shock failed and cracked the frame. Had it fixed and you can't spot the repair but I just don't trust it. Given that, I couldn't in all fairness sell it to someone so I've retired it and cannibalized it for a new build. It felt terrible pulling it apart for the last time but I'm excited about the new build.

Cracking morning at Stromlo, had my heart broken for the 5th time on the last feature of Heartbreaker, Dave cleaned the entire thing! The other Dave was out with his camera, action shot forthcoming, last ride on the very stretched gloves, pulled the refresh pair out of the cupboard.
