So all set for the @pink poodle rock slab challenge !
@hifiandmtb really is putting in some hard work in the lead up! This will be a great advantage. @Ultra Lord must be dishing out the hot tips l at a rapid rate.

I'm pretty sure that eye of the tiger, cliche as it is, is definitely going through his ears. But I don't think vegetarians are down with punching beef carcasses!

And yes there were three of us but one of us went off the front for the whole ride except for the pic.
Doesn't look like 3 x 4m2...

Just been potting around the garage. Main agenda was a tyre change and brake bleed. Will be putting my handy work to the test this afternoon.

The resurrection of the Lefty continues..
10 speed 11-42 cassette and XT derailleur unfortunately need to source a longer b-screw and changing from a 3 ring to single at the front, not sure what size at the front
at the moment will need to do some test rides, also thinking about going drop bars with hydro brakes...

Rode Craigburn Farm for the first time. Can't believe it took me so long to get around to it as it's (relatively) local.

I was heading to O'halloran Hill but the road was quite wet, meaning OHH would be clag. Stoked I made the call as Craigburn has some fun little sections.

Sticks and Stones, and Sidewinder were my highlights. Sorry no pics because the rain would have fried my phone.

Rode it in the Forrest for the first time since all this began.
Mt Macedon DH trails for those that know.

Was sublime. Couldn’t wipe the grin off my face the whole way home.
@Mattyp said he'd been out, enough to tempt me to try to get up there next week, missing it like mad

More sick shots. I'd backed off as I was getting too close to Dave so got a sneaky smile in on spotting the camera.

I hope the photographer is moving after every shot to count as exercise? ;)

I went for a leisurely cruise, but on way back decided to sprint up a short climb... broke a brand new chain and punched the ground. Having a recovery beer now after a few kms walk home

There is still enough trail to make it well worth it. And the silver lining is the climbs aren’t as long!
They haven’t quite cleared all the top so there are still a little bit of trail running from the top.
It is running premo out there.
get amongst it!

Went out for a spin on the roadie. Headwind crosswind headwind crosswind tail....nah, crosswind! Still good to get out though on a beautiful day.

When I got home a mate messaged me to say he'd pulled up beside me at the lights at the intersection of Camden Valley Way and the Northern Road and had essentially 'escorted me' for a few kays. Upon asking why he didn't say hi he informed me that he was a bit out of sorts due to a local rider he knew this morning suffering a heart attack on Razorback, and that despite the efforts of a passing motorist who performed CPR, the rider had passed away. RIP.

more digging, more ripping out trees and weeds in prep for the front yard pump track... :D, keep finding dodgy shit that needs to re-done before we can go too much further.
going to start the retainer walls for the end berm tommoz if it aint raining, and form up a new concrete ramp
With all the trees now cleared, you can get a bit more of an idea on the flow.....big question is 4 small rollers or 3 large, I might do both on top and bottom runs.
will try to get some progress pics tomorrow

Is it really just going to be a wall hanger?
Yeah mate. Whilst the repair was good and technically it should be strong or even stronger it's a mind fuck. I'm doing what I consider to be pretty big jumps these days and I just don't need that nagging me whilst doing that. Couldn't sell it in good conscience.
